Our dress code is winter cocktail! Feel free to wear something elegant and dressy, with warm and luxurious fabrics. This could be a knee-length or midi dress, a classy jumpsuit, a stylish blouse and pants, a blazer and pants, floor-length gown in a fun fabric, or a suit, with creative ties optional. Please don't overthink this - we love weddings as a reason to dress up, but all are welcome wearing whatever makes you feel good :) We do ask that you avoid white out of tradition.

Traffic and weather can be major factors on a February Friday! Please plan to arrive by 4:30 so that you can find your seat and settle in before the ceremony starts promptly at 5! There will be a cash bar available prior to the ceremony.

We are offering shuttle service to wedding day from our preferred hotel at the Nantasket Beach Resort. Please RSVP if you are interested in shuttle service so we can plan accordingly. If staying elsewhere or coming from Boston, the commuter rail has a stop in Cohasset, where you can take a short taxi ride to the venue. If driving from Boston, you can take 93 south to Route 3A, about 1 hour. Feel free to reach out if you need help with directions or parking.

There is plenty of parking at the Municipal Lot in Cohasset, just next to the Red Lion Inn. Follow "Parking Way" just past the Inn to the large lot.

Shuttles FROM Nantasket TO Red Lion will leave at 4 pm and 4:30 pm. Return shuttles FROM Red Lion TO Nantasket will begin looping continuously around 10 pm, with the final shuttle leave aroudn 1 am at the end of the after party. This is purely a hotel shuttle, and is only for wedding day, not the brunch or welcome party!

We are not able to accommodate plus ones for every guest. Your invitation and your online RSVP will indicate who is in your party.

Yes! See our travel page for info on our block at Nantasket Beach Resort just 10 minutes down the road. We are also providing a shuttle to this hotel on wedding day! (Shuttle will not be available for welcome party or brunch, but please reach out and we may be able to help arrange rideshares or other transport!)

All rooms at the Red Lion Inn are currently reserved for close family and wedding party.

February on the South Shore of Massachusetts will definitely be chilly, with high temps typically in the 30s, but our evening is planned with minimal outside time - ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception do not require leaving the building, and walking to the after-party is through a short, covered walkway.
